My upbringing, my career, and my life have been devoted to realizing social justice. As the son of freedom fighters and the beneficiary of a rich education, I spend my time dreaming of a world that is more equitable in opportunity and outcomes. I believe in the power of education, of restorative practices, and of conscientious leaders to help the world achieve these ideals. My practice is inspired and fueled by the spirit of ubuntu, which insists on the shared and codependent nature of humanity and humanness.
